McPHEE, VERDA MINNIE (BETTS) At home on September 10th, 2004, Verda Minnie (Betts) McPhee, unexpectedly left her loved ones at the age of 57 years. Survived by her husband of 40 years, Danny McPhee of North Forks; by son Daniel (Skip) McPhee of Chipman; by daughters, Brenda Godin of Fredericton, Christina (Tim) Thibodeau of Chipman and Anglea (Richard) Hawkes of Noonan; by grandchildren Natasha Godin, Andrew and Alysia Thibodeau, Logan Hawkes and Kayla Dawn McNeill, by brother Robert (Mary Lou) Betts of Geary; by sisters Florence (Nick) Graham of Fredericton, Marilyn (Jimmy) Scott of Lincoln, Shirley (Bob) Eddy of Fredericton and Viola Hachey of St. Stephen; by sister-in-law Mae (Reggie) Betts of Hardwood Ridge; and by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Ruby (McAllister) Betts, and by brothers Hayward and Morris Betts. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) until Monday when funeral service will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau Forks, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, GLAAT, or charity of the donor's choice.
