WESTVILLE – Peter Thomas LeBlanc, age 75, passed away at his home in Westville, on Monday, August 4, 2008. Born in Sackville, N.B., he was the son of the late Thomas and Alice (Burk) LeBlanc. He retired from AEP Canada Ltd., formerly Borden Chemicals. Peter was a Past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus, and a dedicated Past Councilor of Pictonian Council 879 UCT and a Past Grand Chaplin of Atlantic Grand Chaplin of Atlantic Grand Council UCT. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Name, Westville, N.S. He is survived by his wife, Marina (Inglis); sons: Todd (Carol), Amherst; Tom, Eastern Passage; Jody, Cherry Hill; step-children: Sandy Crockett (Judy), New Market, Ontario; Hannah Searle (Ken), Napan, N.B.; and seven grandchildren: Amanda, Jenna, Dustin, Daniel, Emma, Sarah, and Luke. He is also survived by brothers, Robert and Henry; sisters: Doris, Katherine, Dorilla, and Mary, all of Amherst, N.S. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Melos and Charles; sisters: Lena, Edna, and Alice. Visitations will be held at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday from The Church of the Holy Name, Westville. Reception to follow in Church Hall. A private burial will be at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in his memory may be made to Summer Street Industries, New Glasgow; V.O.N. Pictou County; or a charity of your choice.
