ASHBURNE, GARY ARNOLD The death of Gary Arnold Ashburne of Waasis, NB, occurred suddenly at his residence February 7, 2006. He was 56. Born in Gagetown, NB he was the son of the late Arnold and Leona (Banks) Ashburne. He was employed with DND for 30 plus years. Gary was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors; he loved to play his guitar and especially loved his family. Survived by one daughter Lynn (Doug) Ingram; one son Jeff (Kim) Ashburne and one step-son Robert Ashburne; two grandsons Tyler and Jacob; one brother Vaughn (Ethel) Ashburne; one sister Carolyn (Jim) McGuire; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; numerous friends, including special friend Jane Calhoun. He was predeceased by his parents; one infant daughter, Laurie Anne, and two infant brothers, Bobby and Allen. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. John's Anglican Church, Gagetown, NB on Saturday February 11, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gerald Laskey officiating.
