MABEL GERTRUDE MCNALLY

MCNALLY, MABEL GERTRUDE Mabel G. McNally of Prince William passed away peacefully on March 5, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1910 at Barton Station, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Matilda (Price) Barton. Mabel was a loving mother and a compassionate friend. She found meaning and purpose in life by doing for others. Mabel was a faithful member of the Prince William Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Society (Dominion Life Member). Mabel is survived by her four sons, Hugh (Shirley) of New Minas, NS, Hazen of Prince William, NB, John (Judy) of Bath, NB and Brian (Hannah) of Sackville, NB; her son-in-law, Lloyd Mersereau (Louise) of Hoyt, NB; nine grandchildren, Heather, Wanda and John, Susan and Sharis, Martin and Michael, Ukupa and Hazen; twelve great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins including special niece Pauline Kelly and special cousins, Eileen Gill and Gerald Goodine. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wallace Fraser McNally, a daughter, Helen Louise Mersereau and four brothers Arthur, Hazen, Kenneth and Hugh. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eugene Morell officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Taylor and Rev. John McNally. Interment will be later at Prince William Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mabel, the family has suggested the Harvey Outreach for Seniors Inc., the Prince William Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
