BRADLEY, MYRTLE PEARL We lost a very kind and loving woman on December 28, 2006 in the passing of Myrtle P. Bradley at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Hainesville on August 26, 1917, Myrtle was one of four children (and twin to brother Merle) of the late Howard J. and May M. (Blaney) Wallace of Maple Ridge, NB. A graduate of Provincial Normal School, she taught for 36 years, mostly in one-room schools in York County. She finished her career in Connaught Street School in Fredericton. Myrtle was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association and the retired teachers' craft group. She was a member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church, a Dominion Life Member of the Women's Missionary Society and of the Get Together Club. She belonged to Sir Howard Douglas Chapter of I.O.D.E. She is survived by her only son, Leland Bradley and his wife Judy (Humble) of Beamsville, ON; her brother, Robert Wallace and his wife Doreen of Newcastle; her sister, Bessie Scott and her husband Cyril of Hainesville; her sister-in-law, Kathleen Wallace of Maple Ridge; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Leland Bradley in 1943; her brother, Merle Wallace of Maple Ridge in 2002 and a brother-in-law, Cecil Sproull of Hainesville in 2001. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Greg Geldart officiating. Pallbearers will be Ian Gilchrist and David Scott and nephews Edwin Wallace, Marcus Wallace, Melbourne Sproull and Bruce Wallace. Interment will be later at Temperance Vale Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Myrtle may be made to a charity of the donors choice. www.flewellingswan.com
