EDISON WENDALL SHAW
SHAW, EDISON WENDALL Edison W. Shaw of Upper Hainesville passed away unexpectedly at Scotch Settlement on May 26, 2007. Edison was born at Scotch Settlement on February 28,1944 and was a son of the late James and Vita (Parker) Shaw. He was employed as a sawyer at the Hainesville Sawmill. Edison was a member and Deacon of the Upper Hainesville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Faith E. (Nason) Shaw; two sons, Bruce Shaw (Darlene) of Woodstock and Michael Shaw (Jackie) of Hainesville; a granddaughter, Taylor Shaw; two step-granddaughters, Tara Tapley and Jamie Hathaway; two sisters, Clara Billings (Manford) of Douglas and Joyce Harrison (Kenny) of Bear Island; four brothers, Carl of Temperance Vale, Ashley (Charlene) of Scotch Settlement, Douglas (Barbara) of Scotch Settlement and Dale (Kathy) of Hainesville; an aunt, Margaret Atherton of York Manor; a sister-in-law, Ester Shaw of Hainesville; a brother-in-law, Russell Yerxa of Scotch Settlement; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Edison was predeceased by a sister, Dora Yerxa and two brothers, Willis and Albert Shaw. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Upper Hainesville Baptist Church, 120 Route 610, on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald MacDougall officiating, assisted by Rev. George Clark. Interment will follow in Ridgeview Cemetery.
