JOSEPH AMOND PERRY
PERRY, JOSEPH AMOND Joseph Amond Perry of French Lake, NB passed away peacefully at his home on November 4, 2007 following a short battle with cancer. Born in Summerside, PEI to the late Arthur and Roseanne (Blacquiere) Perry. Surviving Joseph is his loving wife of 60 years, Mary (Gallant) Perry; three daughters, Linda (Terry) Balazs of Waterville, NB, Judith (Calvin) Keddie of Waterville, NB, and Ivy (Bernie) Currie of Oromocto West, NB; one son, Joseph (Lea) Perry of Oromocto West, NB; ten grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Madeline Perry and Mildred Gallant and also a sister-in-law Joan Perry, all of Summerside, PEI. Joseph is predeceased by his parents as well as two brothers, Fredrick and Cedric, and one sister, Edna. In 1942 Joseph joined the military and was a veteran of WWII where he later rejoined and served with the Service Corps until 1975. He was then a member of the Royal Canadian Legion of the Oromocto Branch #93. Special thanks are given to Dr. Roxborough and the nurses on the 1st floor at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Visitation will take place at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St.) on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 7th, at 11:00 am with Rev. Ken Weir officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
