DONALDSON, MARJORIE MARIA ALEXANDRIA (NEE HOFSTRAND) Marjorie Maria Alexandria Donaldson (nee Hofstrand) was born February 28, 1918 in Stockholm, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by sisters, Hazel and Joyce; and brothers, Carlyle and Irwin. Survived by her youngest sister, Edna, living in Port Angeles, WA, USA. Beloved mother of Andrew Russell (Deceased December 2004) and Robert Gordon. Grandmother of Christine, Stephanie, Jennifer and Claire. Great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Angus, Bridger, Ainslie and Ryan. Marjorie was a Canadian pioneer, an army wife and a very independent woman. She was a gardener, painter, horse lover, dog lover and hunter. She was independent to her last days as she wanted and remembered by all who knew her. A private family service has been held.
