STRONG, GWEN MEREDITH (PATTERSON) The passing of Gwen Meredith (Patterson) Strong, wife of John Strong, of Mazerolle Settlement occurred on January 1st , 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on April 20, 1946 in Fredericton NB, she was the daughter of Edna (Wood) Patterson and the late Charles Patterson. Gwen is survived by her two sons Eric (Lori) of NB, Brian (Lisa) of NB, her two daughters, Tina Durelle of Fredericton, NB and Colleen Corey of Chipman, NB. One brother, Harry (Polly) Patterson of Fredericton NB, and her three sisters, Paulette Vipond (Roger), Gertrude Stairs both of Calgary, AB and Cheryl Vezina of Burtts Corner, NB; six grandchildren Johnathon, Jeremie, Jeffery, Jasmin, Jessica and Maria; several nieces and nephews; BFF girl friend, Mary Jane Banks. Besides her father, Gwen was predeceased by her brother, Wayne Patterson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's, T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 4th, 2007 at 2 pm.
