CLEROUX (MCNEIL), MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" Mrs. Betty Cleroux of Nashwaak Village passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 6, 2008. Born on May 24, 1938, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Porter) McNeil. She is survived by her sister, Elynor (Charles) Sargeant; and three brothers, Fred (Connie), Bob (Marianne), and Philip (Vicky); as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides her parents, Betty is predeceased by her husband, Gilles Cleroux and her sister, Noreen McNeil. Betty was a resident of Montreal for many years where she worked in accounting with various firms. She moved to the Nashwaak on her retirement and lived in the family home. She had many friends in Montreal and on the Nashwaak. There will be no visitation by request. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony's Church on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 7 pm with Father Monte Peters as celebrant, with a reception to follow. York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, are entrusted with the care and direction of arrangements.
