BARTON, MURRAY CLARENCE At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Sunday, October 19th, 2008 Murray Clarence Barton passed on at the age of 81 years. Murray is survived by his wife of sixty years, Doreen (Wilson) Barton and by daughter Carolyn Barton, each of Coal Creek, as well as by son Marvin Barton of Alberta; by brother, Arthur (Leola) Barton of Coal Creek; by sister, Marguerite (Goldie) Power of Minto; by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Angus and Russell Barton and by sisters Freda Forrester and Annie Barton. The family will receive visitors at the Chipman Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., from where funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with Pastor Mitchel Foley and Rev. Keith Barton officiating. Interment will follow at the Newcastle Creek Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cumberland Bay Baptist Church or to the Newcastle Creek Extension Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
