LEWIS, HAROLD CLINTON It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harold Clinton Lewis on December 29th, 2008 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born June 14, 1927 to the late Charles and May Lewis of White's Cove. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane; sons, Jerry (Janice), Harold Jr. and daughter, Sherry McLaughlan (Ron). Left with precious memories are his grandchildren, Amanda (Terry), Justin (Krista), Jena (Mark), Stacey, Krystal and Teri as well as the littlest lights of his life, his great-grandchildren, Jared, Lilah, Kassidy and Evan. Known for his love of music, heavy equipment and his numerous years of driving the local school bus, he will be missed by many. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, January 2nd, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will occur in the St. John's Anglican Cemetery in White's Cove following the service. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Sainz and Dr. Haines as well as the staff of the Oromocto Public Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cambridge-Narrows Community School or the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated by the family. To the world he was one, to us he was the world.
