MITCHELL, E. MALCOLM The death of E. Malcolm Mitchell occurred on May 28th, 2009 at the University Hospital in Edmonton, AB. Born in Fredericton, NB. He was the husband of Lena (Howe) Mitchell and the son of Edna (Davidson) and the late Eugene Mitchell. Malcolm enjoyed using his talents in the service of his Lord through playing guitar and singing with Lena for the Glory of God. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren will sadly miss the special times spent with Papa. Malcolm could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to family, friends or church family. He will be sadly missed by all. Survived by his loving wife, Lena; one son, Troy (Leslie) of Alberta; one daughter, Nicole Maillet (Russell) of Oromocto; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Haley and Brett; one sister, Ruth Muscroft (John) of Sussex; one brother, Ernie of Alberta. He was predeceased by his father, Eugene. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Geary United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, June 4th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Mark Noel will officiate, assisted by Rev. Robert Foster.
