NASON, MARVEL L. The death of Marvel Lorena Nason of Tracy NB occurred on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born at Tracy on July 12th, 1930, she was the daughter of Bertram O. and Rhoda L. (Tracy) Webb. Marvel Nason was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, and was very community-minded, having served on many boards and committees, receiving the citizen of the year award in Tracy for 1986. Her parents (1995); her husband, Ray P. Nason (1990); one son, Lynnwood Nason ("Woody") (1994); and one brother, Tracy Webb (1978), predeceased her. She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Peter Gough), Fredericton, Lorena (Dale Mowry), Tracy, and Judy Nason, Fredericton; three sons, Luther Nason, Fredericton, Larry Nason (Kathy), Tracy, and Carmen Nason (Elizabeth), Tracy; grandchildren, Stephen & Kevin Gough, James Nason, Mark Nason (Charlene), Amanda Duffy (Chad), Melissa, Dale, Joel & Rachel Mowry, Elizabeth & Rebekah Nason, Jeremy & Kristopher Nason; great grandchildren, Patrick Mowry, Colton Gough & Izabella Duffy; sisters, Inez (Ewart) Phillips and Rowena (Carl) Gillett; a brother, Lyman (Inez) Webb; special aunt, Renna Tracy; brother-in-law, Chester Mott; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Tracy United Baptist Church Family Centre on Monday, September 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Tracy United Baptist Church with Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment will take place in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The White Rapids Manor, Tracy United Baptist Church, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
