MARGARET ALMA (WOODCOCK) AUSTIN

AUSTIN, MARGARET ALMA (WOODCOCK) Margaret Alma (Woodcock) Austin left us to go home to her heavenly Father on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born November 25th, 1921 in McGivney Junction, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Minnie (Palmer) Woodcock. She is survived by sons, Chester of Minto, Edward (Judy) of Moncton, Brian (Margaret) of Oshawa, Donald (Vera) of Labrador and Guy (Nancy) of Minto; daughters, Fay Gauthier of Ripples, Mary (Ron) Kennedy of Chipman and Heather Wright of Fredericton Junction. Margaret was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Austin; two grandchildren, Ron Gauthier and Tammy Austin; and a great granddaughter, Addison Dawn Austin. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was pre- deceased by brothers, Bert, Roy, Hedley, Robbie, Rufus, Ernie and special brother, Raymond; sisters, Violet Fairley, Ada Fairley, Elsie Peterson, Francis Peterson and Mary (Sullivan) Maston. She was a faithful life long member of Trinity United Church in Minto. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 at Trinity United Church with Rev. Hazel Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Wallbridge Cemetery.
