YORKE, EMBERT FLODEN "MICK" The death of Floden Yorke occurred peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 after a battle with cancer. He was born October 18th, 1932 to Axel and Lavonah (Welch) Yorke and was a loving husband to Louise (Sauvé) Yorke of Waasis, NB. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Karen Leedham (Bruce) of Trenton, ON, Randy Yorke (Donna) of Lincoln, NB and Mike Yorke (Bonnie) of St. Stephen, NB; his grandchildren, Steven, Adam, Rachel, Ryan, Jenny, Sarah, Iesha, James, Najee, Michelle and Tim; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Connor, Coen, Casey and Landon; siblings, Carroll Yorke (Jackie) of Greenwood, NS, Beverly Venoit of Amherst, NS, Sylvia Maloin of Antigonish, NS, Gary Yorke (Brenda) of London, ON and Pat Yorke of London ON as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Floden was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Lawrence Yorke and Rick Yorke. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no service by request.
