STODDARD, SHIRLEY With great sadness, the family of Shirley Irene Stoddard announces her sudden passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday morning December 22, 2009. Born in McGivney, NB on May 19, 1939, Shirley was the daughter of the late John Milford Collins and Margaret Bell (McConvey) Collins. She is survived by her children: John (Dr. Ann) Collins, Becky Lewis, Rev. Deric (April) Bartlett, Nicky Bartlett and Gilbert Stoddard. Nana dearly loved and was very proud of her grandchildren: Corey and Paul (Teri) Lewis, Josh, Jessica and Julia Collins, Erica (Mike) Bartlett-Standish, Bryce, Daniel, and Caleb Bartlett, Rachel and Jeremy Bartlett and great granddaughter Emma Lewis. Shirley will be sadly missed by her sisters, Myrtle Doak and Thelma Carson and brother, Jackie Collins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wendell Bartlett, her second husband, Gilbert Stoddard; brothers, Lawrence (Rocky), William (Bill), Vernard and Cecil; sisters, Elva Norrad and Jean. Visitation will take place from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 11 am with Rev. Steve Little officiating. Interment will take place in McGivney Community Cemetery at a later date.
