EMBLETON, GEORGE EVERETT - At his residence, Valley Road, NB December 27, 2001, George Everett (Dick) Embleton, husband of Reta A. (Stewart) Embleton of Valley Road, NB. Son of the late Harold D. and Katherine M. (Hewitt) Embleton of Harvey, NB. He was a hairstylist in St. Stephen for 46 years. Survived by his wife, one son; Trent (Susan) of St. Stephen, NB, two daughters; Lynn (Jim) Underhill of Fredericton, NB, Wendy Sweeney of St. Stephen, NB, seven grandchildren; Kristi Underhill, Shaun Underhill, Sara Sweeney, Ashley Sweeney, Jennifer Embleton, Jacqueline Embleton and Jason Embleton, one sister; Jackie Jamieson of Kentville, Nova Scotia, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the Union Street Baptist Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, NB on Saturday December 29, 2001 at 2 PM with Rev. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery, Harvey, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) on Friday December 28, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Union Street Baptist Church Building Fund or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
