ROGERSON, DAVID WESLEY - Following a brief illness, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B., on January 6, 2002, Mr. David Wesley Rogerson of Lord's Cove, N.B., husband of Grace (Johnson) Rogerson. Born in Calais, Maine, on May 25, 1939, he was a son of the late John and Winnifred (Lambert) Rogerson. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Dave is survived by his wife; one daughter, Kathy, Mrs. Mark Young of Deer Island; three grandchildren, Devon, Brittany and Dustin; one sister, Katherine, Mrs. Howard Camick of Leonardville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, James and one sister, Charlotte Brown. David was employed by the Department of Transportation as a deck hand on the John E. Rigby, as well as a self-employed fisherman for many years. He was a member of the Charlotte County Liberal Association. By David's request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery on Thursday at 2 pm with Rev. Jeff Combs officiating. In his memory, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
