HATT, DONALD F. - Mr. Donald F. Hatt of 169 Route 776, North Head Grand Manan Island passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Thursday April 11th, 2002. Born of the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Frances Hatt in 1914, Don enjoyed his work as a fisherman until he retired, he was an active member of the North Head United Baptist Church, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #44, and devoted family man. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Verna M. (Bonnie) Hatt, two daughters Mrs. Donna Brown (Terry) of Seal Cove, Mrs. Elaine Brown (Kenny) of Castalia, two sisters Mrs. Elanor Green (Fisher) of Seal Cove, Mrs. Madeline Green of North Head. Four Grand Children, Blaine (Anzonette), Stacy (Annise), Graydon (Melissa), Joleene (Dave), three adopted Grand Children Florence, Rupert and Blaire Closusich, and six Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Lois and two brothers, Everett and Walter. Visiting hours will be held at the North Head United Baptist Church Saturday from 2-4, and 7-9 pm from where the Funeral service will take place Sunday April 14th, 2002 at 1pm with Rev.
