HOMER, EMMA IRENE - The death of Emma I. (Stackhouse) Homer age 78, occurred at her residence, Norton, NB. On April 24, 2002. Emma was the wife of Donald Homer and daughter of the late J. Roy and Beatrice (Ferris) Stackhouse. Emma is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, sons; Beverley and Joyce of Charlottetown, and Gregory of Halifax, special son Walter Freeze of Sussex, daughters; Beatrice and Barry King of Riverview, Mary Northrup and Cathy and Blair Lyttle of Sussex Corner, special daughter, Tania MacNeil of Sussex, grandchildren, Darren, Petrina, Teri, Amanda, Lindsay, Danny, Donnie, Trista and Vikki, brother; Victor and Anne Stackhouse of Saint John, sisters; Nora Allen of Saint John, Helen and Hartley Mallory, AB and Gladys and Lou Kyle of Geary, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by sisters, Lena Armstrong, Bessie London, and infant sister Lucy and brothers, G. Whitfield, Frank and Gordon Stackhouse. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, (839-2156) Thursday, 7:00-9:00 PM and Friday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Norton, Saturday at 2:00 PM, followed by interment in Riverbank Cemetery.
