BAKER, EMILY ELIZABETH - The death of Emily Elizabeth Baker (Desroches) occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 6th, 2002 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband George R. Baker. Emily is survived by her children, Bonnie Darrah (Ted Stewart) of Edmonton, Alberta, Bianca Proudfoot (Charles) of Fredericton, Charles Baker (Joyce) of Bridgetown, NS, Gil Baker of Mississauga, Ontario, Dierdre Baker (John Fulton) of Gaspereau Forks, NB, Brett Baker of Fredericton and Alison Baker of Fredericton, five grandchildren, Jason Darrah, a special grandson to Emily, Courtney, Maddison, Travis and Taylor, sisters, Audrey Gautreau, Freda Bernard, brother Oswald Desroches, several nieces, nephews and cousins, special friends, Paige, Kayla, Connie, Jayne, Barb, Pat and Raymond. There will be no visitation by family request. A memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Isabel Black officiating. There will be a private interment at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
