NUGENT, ROBERT ALEXANDER "BOB" - 84, Dartmouth, N.S. passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 17, 2002. Born in Saint John, N.B. he was predeceased by his parents, George Edward and Bella Mae (Wilson) Nugent. Bob was the beloved husband of Helen (Trainor); father of Patty Bowie, Halifax, N.S. and George ( Mary) Nugent, Brampton, Ontario; brother of Florence Hanson, Point Claire, Quebec and Isabelle (Gerry) Gauvreau, Flagler Beach, Florida; proud grandfather of Katherine Nugent, Brampton, Ontario and Elizabeth Bowie, Halifax, N.S. Bob served in the RCAF during World War II. He was employed by Canadian National Railway in Saint John, N.B., Campbellton, N.B., Halifax, N.S. and throughout the Atlantic Provinces. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Saint Martins, New Brunswick at a later date. A memorial mass by Reverend Andrew Rembarczyk was held on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 10 Maple Street, Dartmouth . As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made in Bob's memory to the Dartmouth General Hospital , 325 Pleasant Street, Dartmouth, N.S. B2Y 4G8. Helen and family would like to thank Bob's good friend, Hugh Matthews, for his help and support during Bob's final days.
