
PEARL LOUISE STRAIGHT
STRAIGHT, PEARL LOUISE - The death of Mrs. Pearl Louise (Campbell) Straight of Turnbull Home, Saint John, wife of the late Ottis Straight, occurred on Thursday, June 6, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Lower Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Mary I. (Nye) Campbell. Mrs. Straight was employed at the Provincial Hospital for a number of years, before her retirement and was active in church work for many years. She was the cornerstone of her family. She was affectionately referred to as Nanny and Granny Nanny. She is survived by two sons, James (Nettie) and Reginald, both of Saint John, four daughters Aurilla Clark (David) of Cambridge, ON, Agnes Wheeler (Orval) of London, ON, Marilyn Clarke (Lloyd) of Grand Bay and Sandra Straight (Chris) of Saint John, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one son Richard. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held at Turnbull Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
