ROBERT VINCENT LENIHAN

LENIHAN, ROBERT VINCENT - Robert Vincent Lenihan of Hedgewood Drive, Moncton, age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 19, 1929 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Doherty) Lenihan. He was a graduate of St. Vincent's Boys High School in Saint John, a Liberal M.L.A. for the Moncton Area 1967-1970, a member of the B.P.O.E. No. 229, active in amatuer sports, an avid baseball fan and a member of the Champlain Mall Walking Club. He worked for Air Canada as a passenger agent, in Saint John, Gander, Montreal and Moncton. Later he owned Moncton Travel Agency. He was past area director for the American Society of Travel Agents. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his wife, Betty (Russell), sons, Michael (Cathy), Mark (Suzanne) both of Ottawa, daughter, Mary Jane Lenihan of Saint John, brothers, Willaim (Florence) of Dartmouth, Walter (Connie) of Montreal, Frank of Bathurst, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Alice Montague and Mary Ingram. Visitation will be held from Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton, with visiting hours on Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayer will be held from the funeral home, Sunday at 8:30pm. The funeral will be held from the Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 10:30 am, Father D. Bohan officiating. Burial will be held in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Saint John. For those who desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family. www.cadmansfh.com
