MINER, NORINNE LEAH - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on January 10, 2003, Mrs. Norinne Leah Miner wife of John F. Miner of Lambert's Cove, N.B. Born on Deer Island on June 8, 2003 she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Fern (Lord) Richardson. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Norinne is survived by her husband John, one daughter: Mary Ellen (Peter) Stevens of Wellington, N.S., three sons: John (Lisa) Miner of Deer Island, Leonard Miner (Gisele Landry) of Moncton, N.B., Philip Miner of Deer Island, five grandchildren: Danielle and Drew Stevens, and Mike, Blake, and Lauren Miner, three sisters: Eleanor Thurber of ?Oromocto, N.B., Maxine Young (Raymond) and Cathy (Don) Stuart both of Deer Island, one brother: Dale (Lucy) Richardson of St. Stephen, N.B., one uncle: Ralph (Helena) Richardson of Deer Island, two aunts: Marjorie Jacobs of Vermont and Mary Stuart of Deer Island, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Dean Richardson. Norinne was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and classical music. An avid birdwatcher, she loved nature. In her earlier years, she enjoyed knitting. She was a member of the Lords Cove Church of Christ. From where the service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. followed by the interment in the Fairhaven Community Cemetery at Calder's Head. Visiting at the Church on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. For those who wish donations to the Arthritis Society, Kidney Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
