BLANCHETTE, MANON - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, April 23, 2003, Manon Blanchette of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 28 years. She was the wife of Danny Blanchette. Born at Grand Falls in 1974, she was a daughter of Jean-Marc and Mariette (Theriault) Violette of Saint-Leonard. Mrs. Blanchette was a member of the New Brunswick Nurses Association and of the Maine Nurses Association. Besides her husband and her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Zoé, one brother, Marc Violette (Tracy) of Campbellton, two sisters, France (Pierre Soucy) of Dieppe and Valérie Violette of Saint-Leonard, her maternal grandfather, Elie Theriault of Campbellton, father- and mother-in-law, Claude and Rejeanne Blanchette of Grand Falls, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Friday, April 25th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the Saint-Leonard cemetery.
