FAIRWEATHER, LORRAINE E. - The passing of Lorraine Eva Fairweather of Fredericton, wife of Lee A. Fairweather, occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 14, 2003. Born in Hampton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Checkley and Violet (Sprague) Stanley. She was the Administrative Assistant with the former Victoria Public Hospital for over 30 years. Survived by her husband Lee; one daughter, Eva Norman RN of Vernon, BC; two sons, Wayman Fairweather of Collingwood, Ont. and Lyndon Fairweather and wife Sheila of Fredericton; three grandsons, Andrew and Michael Fairweather of Ont. and Gerald Fairweather of Fredericton; one granddaughter, Sandy (Norman) Rolfe RN of Vancouver; five great grandchildren; one niece, Joy Waycott of Brighton, Ont.. Predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Phyllis and Audrey and one brother Wayman. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Monday, May 19, 2003 beginning at 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel. Peter Somerville, Director of Pastoral Care at York Manor, will officiate. Following cremation, interment of remains will be in the Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, NB at a later date.
