Passed peacefully away at his residence on Friday, July 4, 2008, Cyril Penney, aged 85 years. Predeceased by his wife, Mary Agnes Penney and son Cyril. Leaving to mourn his sons: Eric (Jane), Jim (Dorothy), Gerry (Vera-Lynn), Roy (Pamela) and Gary (Jackie); daughter Debbie Mercer (Gary); twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Bill (Theresa); sisters-in-law: Bernadette and Matsie; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the General Protestant Cemetery.
