GODSOE, JAMES DANIEL - It is with sadness, the family of James (Jim) Godsoe announces the loss of their beloved son and brother. Jim passed away peacefully in his sleep at his Ottawa home on November 15, 2003. Born in Saint John, June 24, 1951, the beloved son of Laura and the late Daniel Godsoe. Jim lived for many years in Ottawa. Also left to mourn are three sisters, Wanda Herrington (Jim), Quispamsis, NB, Sharon Comeau, and Linda Ewart of Saint John, NB, two brothers Kevin and Joe of Burnaby, BC, one uncle, three aunts, dear nieces and nephews, many cousins, as well as treasured friends. While he will be remembered for his friendship, creativity, love of life and music, he will be remembered best for his overwhelming generosity that touched all who knew him. In lieu of flowers Jim would appreciate us all taking care of one another, something he never failed to do. Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 21, 2003, at 2:00 pm, in Brenan's Chapel.
