WALLACE, ISABEL - The death of Isabel (McLeod) Wallace occurred Nov. 13, 2003 at Brighton Gardens, Carlsbad, California, USA. Born May 3, 1916, Isabel was the daughter of the late Reuben E. and Lulu (Brown) McLeod of St. Martins, NB, and the wife of the late Charles R. Wallace who passed away in 1974. Isabel is survived by her son Charles and his wife Olive of Yorkton Heights, New York, her daughter Muriel Turner and her husband Frank of Vista, California, two brothers; Bentley of Sussex and Gordon McLeod and his wife Joanne of Fredericton, her sister-in- law Joan McLeod of Truro, NS, three grandchildren; Jennifer, Robertson and Jeffrey, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Isabel was predeceased by her sister Otis Setley, her brother Roland and her sister-in-law Reta McLeod. She was a registered nurse in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps during WWII and lived in Carlsbad for 32 years. A Memorial Service was held Saturday Nov. 22 at St. Anne Episcopal Church in Oceanside, California.
