75, Dominion It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, brother and grandfather, Pius MacNeil, at home surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Hector and Katie (Cameron) MacNeil. Pius cherished time with his family and especially enjoyed his beloved grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life. Pius is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Jerome (Helen) MacNeil, Jennifer (Jamie) MacNeil and Donnie (Debbie) MacDonald; grandchildren, Kirsten, Brooklyn and Kyle; siblings, Jessie Mae, Alex, Johnny Hector, Cameron and Ed; and by many nieces, nephews and close friends. There will be no visitation at Pius' request. Funeral services under the direction of Curry’s Funeral Home will be celebrated Thursday 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Palliative Care Society or charity of choice.
