HORNSBY, MARY (MILLER) (JAMES) - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 12th, 2004. Mary Hornsby, wife of Barry Hornsby of West Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John she is the daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanor James. Mary was greatly involved with the Saint John City and District Dart League, also heavily involved with softball and hockey in the Saint John area. Mary was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. Surviving in addition to her husband Barry are one son Wayne Miller (Kim) of Saint John, and their children Kira and Alex, son Kirt Hornsby and his children Kyle and Chelsea of Brampton, Ont, three daughters, Brenda Hornsby and her son Jacob, of Amherst, NS, Kim Taylor (Rev. Philip Taylor) of Cole Harbour, NS and their children Korianna, Jennika, and Peter, Sherry Bosse (Charles) of Oromocto, NB and their children Samantha, Sarah, and Stephanie, four brothers, Bill, George (Irene), Doug (Eleanor), and Wayne (Ann) all of Saint John, several nieces and nephews, and cousins. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 15th, 2004 at 10:00 am. The interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 7 - 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
