EDITH B. RUSSELL

RUSSELL, EDITH B. - The death of Edith B. Russell, widow of Murray Russell, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, December 30, 2004. Mrs. Russell was born in Kingston, Ont., a daughter of the late William and Anna (Crowe) Sales, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She had been a seamstress with Dalmey's and House of Fashion until her retirement a number of years ago. She had been an avid walker and was a member of Rebekah Lodge. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Bruce Clark; and two sisters, Willa and Isabel. She is survived by one daughter Elizabeth Clark (Graydon) of Quispamsis; four grandchildren, Deborah Luttrell (Roger), Brenda Ward (Mac), Richard John Clark (Amanda), and Shelley Barrieau (Steve); six great-grandchildren, Katelyn Ward, Noah Ward, Kyle Barrieau, Amanda Clark, Damian Clark, and Evan Luttrell; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Following cremation, interment will take place in Hartland, N.B. in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
