MORGAN, MABEL R. - The death of Mabel Morgan occurred at the SJRH on January 23, 2005 at the age of 75. It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Saint John. Mabel was born in Wicklow, NB and was the daughter of the late Russell and Elizabeth (Crawford) DeMerchant. She is survived by her partner Mark Nickerson, two daughters; Rosanne Stone of Fredericton, Charlotte Morgan of Saint John, three sons; Roy Allison Morgan (Darlene) of Summerville, Raymond Morgan (Diana) of Dartmouth, NS and Everett Morgan (Sally) of Glassville. Also granddaughter Lisa (Art) Nice of Saint John, Sister Mary Joseph of Winnipeg, Brothers; Roy DeMerchant of Bath and Perley DeMerchant of Oromocto as well as twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mabel was predeceased by one daughter; Shirley Wortman in 1977 and one brother Fred DeMerchant of BC. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in Cavanagh's Chapel on Wednesday January 26 at 10:00am followed by burial in Ocean View Cemetery.
