C. ALLAN BOOKER
BOOKER, C. ALLAN - The death of C. Allan Booker, husband of M. Lorraine (Collings) Booker of Morrisdale, NB occurred unexpectedly on April 7, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was a son of Ethnee (Greer) Booker and the late Charles Booker. Allan was a lifelong resident of the Saint John area and was employed as a shipliner for many years on the Saint John Waterfront. He was a past president of ILA Local 103. Allan raised Welsh ponies and draft horses for many years and took many first places at various horse shows. He was a member of the Maritime Draft Horses Association. Allan enjoyed country music and attended as many live performances as he could. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Kevin (Stephanie) of Perth Andover, NB; two daughters, Julie Vicente (David) of Morrisdale, NB and Jennifer Bean (Mark) of Edmonton, AB; one brother Paul (Doreen) of Saint John East; four sisters, Donnalee Bury (William) of Woodman's Point, NB, Faye Tokach (Michael) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Katherine Parker (James) of New Market, ON; seven grandchildren, Miguel, Gabriel, Jessica, Melissa, Sarah, Connor, and Christopher; several nieces and nephews. Resting at the A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (634-1712), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday with service at 1:00 pm. Interment in Woodman's Point Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
