It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph McCarthy on July 20, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Joseph McCarthy, age 60 years. Predeceased by his infant daughter Mary, father William, father-in-law Herbert Bromley, mother-in-law Mary Bromley and brother-in-law John Lewis. Left to mourn his loving and dedicated wife of 38 years Mary (nee Bromley), mother Lucy, sons and best buddies: Terry (Rochelle), Joey (Brenda), loving daughter Cindy (Kevin), special grandchildren: Nicole, Mitchell, Brandon, and Ryan, also Courtney and Hayley Robbins, brothers: William (Joan), Jerome, Clyde (Sharon), Richard (Valerie), Bazel (Ann), Barry, Craig (Danita), sisters: Rose, Pearl, Agnes (Gerald), Lorraine (Paul), Sheila, Evelyn (Francis), Patricia (Craig), Brenda, Sandra (Gary), sisters-in-law: Loretta Casey (Steve); Rose Mason (Clary), very special sister-in-law Jacinta Offrey (Lawrence); special brother-in-law and best friend Gerard Bromley (Juanita), and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Paradise.
