ELLIS, ERIC C. - Eric C. Ellis of Janeville passed away on July 6, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Janeville, NB, in 1920, he was the son of the late Albert Ellis and Muriel (Gammon) Ellis. He was a lifelong resident of Janeville and was engaged in farming and fishing and was later an employee of Consolidated Bathurst in Bathurst. He was a member of Central United Church, Clifton, NB and over the years served on various boards of the church as well as the Agricultural Society and NRDC. He is survived by his wife, Elva Daley and a stepson, Brian (Carmel)Teed, of Bathurst. Also, two sisters, Lela Robson, Edmonton, AB and Marjorie (Robert) Buchanan of Saint John and one brother Gordon (Norma) Ellis, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Garda (George) Pearce. Visitation will be held at Elhatton's Funeral Home, St. George St., Bathurst on Friday, July 7, 7 to 9 PM and Saturday, July 8 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, July 9 at 2 PM from Central United Church, Clifton.
