SHIELS, EDWARD JOHN B. - The death of Edward John B. Shiels of Sandy Point Road, Saint John, NB, occurred on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 7, 1919 he was a son of the late Thomas and Alice (Morris) Shiels. Edward was a veteran having served overseas during WWII, his employment was with Schofield Paper as Internal Sales Supervisor and he enjoyed summers at Clifton Royal for many years. Survived by two sisters, Dorothy Breen and Ruth Squires, both of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Ronald. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At Edward's request there will not be any visiting or service.
