HANLIN (REID), VERMA BERNICE - 89 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Verma Hanlin after a brief illness in the Halifax VG Site, QEII, on Sunday May 4, 2008. Born in Upham, Kings Co., N.B. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith L. Hanlin, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Dora Reid. Verma will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. Verma is survived by sons, William, Washington State, and Robert, Elmsdale; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie St., at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
