VAUTOUR, PHILLIP JOSEPH - The death of Phillip Joseph Vautour, husband of the late Jacqueline (Bradford) Vautour, occurred on Sunday May 11, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 in Saint John he was the son of the late Joseph Basil and Geneveive (LeBlanc) Vautour. Phillip worked as a Plastic Molder for Plastic Craft for 31 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He is survived by his son Steven Vautour (Angela) of Saint John; daughter Debbie Dawson (Vautour) of Saint John; two grandchildren Zachery and Brittany; brother Norman Vautour (Amy) of Musquodobit Harbour, NS; sisters Verna LeBlanc of Saint John and Imelda Sunderland (Frank) of Bradford, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by brothers Arthur and Maxim. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joseph's Church on Thursday May 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
