RALPH OSCAR ROGERS

ROGERS, RALPH OSCAR - Peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton NB, surrounded by his family and friends on December 30, 2008, Mr. Ralph Oscar Rogers, husband of Mrs. Andrea (McRae) Rogers of Moncton NB. Born at Fergus ON, on November 30, 1962, he was a son of the late Charles R. and Helen (Mickelawn) Rogers. A loving husband, father and brother, in addition to his wife Andrea, Ralph is survived by one son, Jared of Moncton, two brothers; Charlie (Ann) Rogers of Brussells ON and Joe Rogers of Fergus ON, one sister, Lucy Rogers (Mike Baird) of Fergus ON as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ralph was an employee of Leon's Furniture of Moncton where he had resided for the past few years. Prior to residing at Moncton he lived at Pennfield NB, where he served as a volunteer firefighter, which was a position he was proud of, and at one time he had aspirations of becoming a professional firefighter. He was a Millwright by trade and was a computer enthusiast. Ralph was a graduate of Conestoga College of Guelph ON. Resting at the residence of his father in law, Mr. Francis McRae, 191 Route 176, Pennfield NB with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held from the Pennfield Baptist Church on Friday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry McCabe and Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. Interment at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Ralph's memory, donations preferably to the Canadian A.L.S Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
