At Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 in his 90th year after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Marjorie ‘Madge’ Bain, and the late Rose Jones. Loving father of Paul Hagerman (Liz), Barbara Chupa (Randy), and Debbie Jones (the late Sandro DePaolis). Proud grandfather of Rebecca, Bethany, Lauren, Andrew, and Alessandro ‘Alex’. Survived by his sister, Teresa McNeil (Bob), and brother, Frank Jones (Sophie). Fondly remembered by the Bain family, his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Pickering Village, Ajax, Ont., 905-428-8488 from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment in Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.
