GELDART, BARRY - Barry C. Geldart of Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 29, 2009. Born 1954 in Saint John, Barry was fortunate enough to have an adoptive family and his biological family. Barry is survived by his adoptive mother Frances Geldart; two sons Corey of Salt Springs and Kyle (Nicole) of Saint John; their mother Emma (Brake) Geldart of Trout River, NL; one precious grandson Caleb; two brothers Andy and Boyd "Bud"; four sisters Susan "Sam", Lynn, Kim and Myrna; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his adoptive father Melvin and biological parents Herb and Nancy. Barry was an accomplished pianist and a member of St. Mary-St. Bartholomew Church. He had an unforgettable sense of humour and loved making people laugh. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at St. Mary-St. Bartholomew Church, 646 Westmorland Rd. on Friday July 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment to take place in Cumberland Bay at a later date.
