Neville Chamberlain King, 73, Richmond Street, Sydney, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the Cape Breton Healthcare Complex, Glace Bay.
Born in St. John’s, Nfld., he was a son of the late Alpheus and Ada (Day) King.
Neville was employed with Cape Breton Beverages for 25 years, until retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma; daughter, Deborah (Steve) Miller, Hills Road, Mira; son, Richard (Helen), Howie Centre; sister, Sherry MacNeil, B.C.; grandchildren, Jessica and Spencer Miller.
Neville was predeceased by his sister, Myrtle, who was born in New York.
We would like to thank Dr. MacNeil and the nurses at the ICU unit in Glace Bay, as well as, Dr. Coakley and the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday 11 a. m., with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating. Interment will take place at Hardwood Hill Cemetery in the spring.
