ANTHONY WILLIAM COLIN KENNETT

KENNETT, ANTHONY WILLIAM COLIN - Died peacefully at the Saint Joseph's Hospital after three and a half years of the most compassionate care from the staff on the 8th floor. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen in May 2009, and is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty), daughter Frances Fullerton (George), sons Micheal and Robert; daughter Susan Campbell (David). They and his 7 grandchildren celebrate his life of service to the education field in New Brunswick over a period of forty years and particularly his dedication in establishing the music and computer education within the local school districts. The accomplishments that rendered Tony an immense amount of gratification and pride was that he insisted on importing a radium beryllium neutron source into Saint John High School in his early years as a teacher there, this source, at the time the only one in a Canadian high school, was the inspiration for one of his first students to pursuit a career that resulted in his becoming head of Nuclear Medicine at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Tony will be cremated and his interment will occur at a family gathering in 2010. Memorials will be gratefully accepted toward research for the Huntington Society of Canada, Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, Saint Joseph's 8th floor T.C.U., or to a charity of the donor's choice. Our sincere thanks go out to all those who have cared for him so lovingly at Saint Joseph's, truly they have become our extended family, their kindness will never be forgotten. Funeral arrangements are entrusted in Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main St. Hampton NB, E5N 6E9, (506) 832-5541
