The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, February 13, 2009, of Prowse Gorrill Chappell, of Brophy Avenue, Summerside, and formerly of St. Eleanors, aged 80 years. Born in Kitchener, ON, he was the son of the late Alex and Pearl (Gorrill) Chappell. Survived by his wife Bertie (Dawson) Chappell; children Ron (Sue) Chappell, Sherbrooke; Debby Chappell (Rainer Zenner), Summerside and Cindy (Ronnie) Carragher, Charlottetown; grandchildren Carla, Alexander, Emily, Patrick and Shannon Chappell and Mark and Scott Carragher; sisters Audrey (Richard) Atkins and June (Elgin) Banting. Predeceased by his son Wayne and sister Eunice. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to Summerside Baptist Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in People\'s Cemetery, Summerside.
