Captain William (Bill) Doyle BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Captain William (Bill) Doyle, 79, of Bouctouche, NB passed away on Friday, March 29, 2002 at his residence, Pots Rd., Bouctouche, NB after a sudden illness. Born on January 28, 1923 in Chaffey's Lock , Ont., he was the son of the late William Doyle and Mabel LaChaut. He was a Captain with the Merchant Marine for 45 years in occupation before his retirement. He attended SaintJean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. He was a member of the Bouctouche Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Mathilda (Tilda) (Girouard) Doyle of Bouctouche; one daughter, Susan Horton (James) of Ottawa; two sons, Michael (Janice), James both of Toronto; one sister, Mary McGean (Jos) of Welland, Ont.; one brother, Mike (Pat) of Brockville, Ont.; one grandchild, Lia; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Helen and two brothers, Joseph and Edward. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche with visiting hours on Wednesday, April 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 4:00 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
