The death occurred on February 15, 2009, at the George Derby Veterans Home in Burnaby, B.C., of Gordon James Cobb at age 81; the son of James Frances and Janet Victoria (McNulty) Cobb. Born in Crapaud, P.E.I., he served in both the Second World War and the Korean War. He leaves his special friend Marilyn Mitchell of Blaine, Wa.; two sisters, Muriel (Grant) McKinnon of Shawnigan Lake, B.C., and Shirley (Ray) Hudson of Hefley Creek, B.C.; a brother, Jack Donald of Middlefield, Ma., and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Kenneth Melvin of Hubbard, Or. Interment will take place in Blaine, Wa.
