Florence LeBlanc 1931 - 2002 The death of Florence LeBlanc of Amirault Street, Dieppe occurred after a lengthy illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Moncton on Tuesday, December 3. Born May 6, 1931 in Lewisville, she was the daughter of Anna Surette and the late Albert Surette. She was an adherent of Calvary United Pentecostal Church, Salisbury. Florence lived for many years in the United States where she worked for Royal Typewriter Company in Conneticut before moving back to New Brunswick where she devoted her life to her family. In addition to her mother Anna Surette of Dieppe, she is survived by her husband Norman; one daughter, Theresa LeBlanc of Littleton, Mass; two sons, Steven and Lisa of St. Paul and James and Christa of Moncton. Sisters Lena Elges (Hugo), Jeannine Gauvin (Euclide), Jeanne Arsenault (Len), Florida Gagnon (Valmont) all of Dieppe, Claudette Surette of Toronto; her brothers, Emery Surette (Ella), of Dieppe, Alyre Surette (Irene) of Windsor, Conn, USA and Harvey Surette (Lil) of Windsor, Ontario; grandchildren Marc-Antoine, Chloe and Eric; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was predeceased by one brother, Yvon. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, with visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 10am with a reception to follow in the family reception room of the funeral home.
